The vinery Kimmig looks back at 30 years of history. It was a chance and a challenge for the, at the time, youngster Michael Kimmig to take over the business from Mr. Schwarz.

Michael had just graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences and was passionate about vines. Once he took over, he increased the production and kept educating himself on soil studies and plant diseases epidemiology.

His vision was to achieve excellence in his vineries and to create his own rootstock production. Over the years, the production increased to millions of plants annually and in Italy, he has created one of the biggest production sites for rootstocks in Europe.
